RoadBoyz member MACA has apologized for controversial behavior during music shows.
Previously, the rookie group was criticized by viewers after they were seen blocking EXO who were supposed to be the first place nominees on a music show. Moreover, when BTS won first place and were delivering their speeches, RoadBoyz were seen making the ‘V’ sign and smiling behind MC Kim Shin Young. They were also seen peeking at EXO Baekhyun’s que card and was said to have allegedly pushed GOT7’s Jackson.
In regards to the criticisms, MACA says, “I am really sorry. My greed of wanting to appear on TV got the best of me. I am sorry. I did not glare at EXO sunbae-nim and I did not push them with force. It looked like I pushed Jackson sunbae-nim when I was following a camera.”
He also reveals, “It is our fault that we were standing in the first-place nominee position. It is our responsibility to apologize to every single person.”
MACA also explains, “I met Jackson sunbae-nim yesterday and apologized to him. I am going to meet EXO and BTS soon and apologize as well.”
He also addresses the mukbang (eating broadcast) video which was uploaded on the same day as the controversial music show by saying, “That video was a promise which was made for our fans. We had a fanmeeting and the video happened to be uploaded on that same day.”
