EXO member Lay revealed to have lost consciousness at the Incheon airport, SM Entertainment gives an update to fans.
According to reports, Lay was headed to Hokkaido, Japan for EXO’s scheduled concert at the Makomanai Sekisui Heim Ice Arena on October 12-13. However, the EXO member suddenly fainted right before boarding the plane and was then rushed to the hospital.
Fans who have witnessed the incident also confirmed the news through social media.
Following the reports, SM Entertainment then gave an update to the fans with regards to Lay’s condition. They reveal, “Lay temporarily lost consciousness because of lack of sleep. Thankfully, the doctor said that all he needs is a good rest. Lay will be heading to the dorm in order to rest.”
The management agency also adds, “He has a strong desire to attend the concert. We will make a decision after we could check on his condition.”
Meanwhile, Lay has recently released his solo track, “What U Need?” which immediately gained 1 million views in just under 24 hours. The song was released as Lay’s special birthday gift to his fans. It was also revealed that Lay took part in the composition and lyrics of the song which would most likely be included in Lay’s upcoming Chinese solo album.
