Not breaking the years of stardom, TVXQ is still the one who is in the highest rank among all the foreign artist on the Oricon chart for the mid year of the year 2011 rankings. On the recent published oricon singles chart for the summary of the first half of 2011, AKB48 got the forst two spots and following them is Arashi, Coming for the 4th place is no other than TVXQ.

Last January, the duo released their Why Keep Your Head Down that reached for about 130,000 untis sold on its first day and wins Oricon daily singles chart, With 230,000 copies sold for its first week, the single topped the oricon weekly chart. Because of the group’s impressive sales, the group marked their 9th time ranking as the 1st, still following their record as having the highest amount of number 1 hits in Japan as the foreign artist.

After the duo topped the singles chart, there are also korean artists that was next to them. KARA was on the 12th and Jang Geun Suk in on the 15th. Girl group SNSD was ranked on 10th for the full album chart and KARA was on 14th.
On the other hand, TVXQ is set to release their new Japanese single, Superstar this 20th of July. The single is believe to follow the rank of the group as it will gave another breaking record.
