Home » JYP cleared Wonder Girls’ comeback

Set to make a Korean comeback with the release of their new album next month, more details for the Wonder Girls‘ comeback has been cleared.

A representative from JYP Entertainment confirmed today that songs from the new album will be part of the soundtrack of their upcoming TV film “Wonder Girls at the Apollo”, which will air on Teen Nick early next year. The group’s participation for the film has gained buzz as it was directed by American actor and record producer Nick Cannon.

The representative further confirmed that they are not yet sure if the upcoming release will be a full album or a mini album. However, they did reveal that, “The music style will be very urban, which is different from some of the retro-style songs the Wonder Girls have previously put out, such as ‘Tell Me,’ ‘So Hot’ and ‘Nobody.’”

The title track of their new album was also not disclosed.

Returning to South Korea last week, Wonder Girls are planning for a short comeback with the release of their new comeback track, as they start promotions for the film by December.
