The male group JYJ was appointed to be the honorary ambassadors for the Jeju’s bid to aim in becoming the New 7 Wonders of the World and this news was unexpectedly shown in the front page of the newspaper prevalent in the place – Hanra IIbo.

The very popular trio, JYJ was then appointed to be the honorary ambassadors for the New Seven Wonders for the island of Jeju. The Jeju special Self Governing province had announced on the 3rd of May that at the current in time in which the selection for the Seven Wonders has only a total of 190 or so days left and in order gain the international recognition that they want, they had appointed JYJ to be their honorary ambassadors on the 15th of last month. JYJ is the trio male group that consists of Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, and Kim Junsu and who are the missing members of TVXQ. As we all known, the group is very popular ever since they had debuted in the year 2004. TVXQ which had JYJ as members had already recorded for the Guinness Book of World Records for having more than 800,000 official members in their fan club on the year 2008. And because of this, they had appointed JYJ to more attention from people to have Jeju as their greatest anticipation. Since the trio is the ambassadors, it is expected that fans will be able to support them in this matter.

On the other hand, the trio had also released their first album in October last year and had already formed and gained much support both domestically and abroad. The group was currently in Beijing, China to have their World Tour Concert and this will be their last stop before they will be able to begin their most anticipated US Tour by the end of the month. And at the same time, the current Seven Wonders of the World Selection Nationwide Commission and the Jeju Island was then appointed to have 35 famous domestic and foreign personalities as honorary ambassadors, including Park Jeesung, Hines Ward, Yoon Dohyun, and Kim Hyunjung.
