WM Entertainment apologizes after B1A4 member Baro receives criticisms following his appearance on the variety show “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator.”
Recently, Baro appeared as a special guest on the latest broadcast of the JTBC show “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator.” However, he was criticized by the viewers after he reveals his picky eating habits.
In the show, Baro asks the chefs to make a make a dish which shows “LA swag” since he loves the weather in LA. Baro then reveals that he does not like pickles and bread and asks for a dish made with chicken.
As chefs Hong Suk Chun and Mikhal start to make Baro’s orders, Baro comments, “That ingredient does not taste good” and “I don’t like crunchy things. I like soggy.”
Tak Jae Hoon, who was also a guest on the show, then comments, “For a young person, you are quite difficult to please.”
As a result, netizens left harsh criticisms on Baro. His management agency, WM Entertainment, released a statement saying, “We would like to apologize to the viewers, fellow guest Tak Jae Hoon, chefs, and the production staff for making them feel uncomfortable after watching the show.”
They add, “Since it was a program that he was appearing on for the first time, Baro’s desire to do well was too much, and it made people uncomfortable. He will humbly receive the harsh criticisms and work hard to be more thoughtful and careful in the future broadcasts. Moreover, we would like to thank everyone who has always shown support.”
