First generation idol group Sechs Kies opens up about their disbandment on “Infinite Challenge.”
On the recent broadcast of popular MBC variety show “Infinite Challenge,” five members appeared as special guests for the “Totoga” special and talked about their disbandment back in 2000.
Lee Jae Jin says, “I did not want to disband, which is why I ran away.”
Eun Ji Won then reveals, “Even if he ran away, we probably would have the press conference.”
Yoo Jae Suk then asks him, “How could you say that?” Eun Ji Won then explains, “What can I do when all of the reporters have been called already?”
The other members also noted that following their disbandment, many fans have gathered outside of their homes and so they were unable to go home. Eun Ji Won then shares, “I think I went to a night club.” He then says to Yoo Jae Suk, “I think I saw you there hyung. I saw you at the next room.”
Yoo Jae Suk then jokes, “It’s okay. I did not disband at that time. I had to promote with my group too. The club Avengers.”
Kang Sun Hoo then says, “I think that we all just went and did our own thing.”
Meanwhile, on the April 23 broadcast of the show, “Infinite Challenge” they would be airing the reunion concert of Sechs Kies which happened on April 14 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
