Singer and actor Rain revealed to be almost at the end of his contract with Cube Entertainment.
According to entertainment insiders, Rain’s 2-year contract with his management agency Cube Entertainment would be expired at the end of the month. It has been said that he is currently discussing his prospects with his friends regarding his future activities.
It is said that he may become a free agent with no contract or decide to renew his contract with Cube Entertainment.
A source tells media outlet Star News, “I am under the impression that Rain has talked with the company CEO many times regarding a renewal of contract. But nothing has been decided yet. Most probably, he would be making his decision pretty soon since he does not have much time left.”
In May of 2013, Rain was discharged from the army and returns to his life as a civilian. Months after, he signed with Cube Entertainment due to his close relationship with the company’s CEO Hong Seung Sung who have worked with him since his days in JYP Entertainment.
Rain then made his comeback album “Rain Effect” with “La Song” and “30 Sexy” as double tracks. He also made his comeback as an actor with the musical drama “My Lovely Girl” along with f(x) member Krystal and has made his Chinese film debut “For Love or Money” with Chinese actress Liu Yifei.
