Block B member P.O apologizes for the outfit he wore during Block B’s performance at the recent “70 Years of Independence Sinbaram Festival”.

On August 15, Korea celebrated their 70 years of independence from Japan and have made a festival called “70 Years of Independence Sinbaram Festival.” Block B performed “Very Good” and “Her”, however, many viewers were dismayed with member P.O’s wardrobe choice at their performance.

Viewers were wondering why P.O wore a jacket with Japanese writing on it on their performance during the celebration of Korea’s independence from Japan.

In response to this, P.O himself and his agency have made their apology.

Block B’s agency, Seven Seasons reveals, “This is about P.O’s outfit at the ‘70 Years of Independence Sinbaram Festival’. We bow our heads in apology to the citizens when P.O came out on stage with a problematic outfit even though it was to celebrate 70 years on Independence. His outfit was not really checked properly before he went on stage. This is a mistake which we have no excuse for and would not allow to ever happen again, so we are deeply sorry.”

“We send our respect to the patriotic martyrs of the country and to those who have died while protecting our homeland, again, we apologize to everyone who were offended because of this. Thank you,” the agency adds.

P.O also wrote an apology on Twitter. He apologized that his outfit did not really fit with the theme and have made people uncomfortable.
