Rock band Nell revealed to be leaving Woollim Entertainment and setting up their own label.

On March 22, Woollim Entertainment reveals, “Nell and Woollim Entertainment have been close for the past 10 years. However, after a deep and careful consideration, we have decided to say farewell in the name of progress of both sides.”

They also add, “Although we would no longer be the management label of the band, we have promised to continue to support each other on our separate paths. We would also maintain good relationship with them and continue to support Nell’s future projects.”

On the other hand, the members of Nell have revealed that although they would be parting ways with the management label, they are glad that they were able to create beautiful memories with them.

Meanwhile, Nell is also reported to be making their own independent label which would then be called, “Space Bohemian.” Moreover, the rock band is also reported to be planning to release their new album in the first half of the year. If their plans for a new album pushes through, it would be their first release since their album “Newton’s Apple” in 2014.

The rock band made their debut in 1999 and is composed of members Kim Jong Wan, Lee Jae Kyong, Lee Jung Hoon and Jung Jae Won. Nell is also known for their songs, “Let It Rain,” “Stay” and “Good Night.”
