On the recent broadcast of “Yoo Heel Yeol’s Sketchbook,” MAMAMOO appeared as guest and the members talk about their strengths, and their group concepts.

MC Yoo Hee Yeol asks them, “Do you think of yourselves as a youthful girl group?”

Moonbyul responds, “I do not think that MAMAMOO is a group which would be put in just one mold. Today, we have tried to do a youthful concept, however, tomorrow we could try a sexy concept.”

Whasa then jokes, “The problem is that if we do youthful concept, we do not seem to be that youthful. And if we do a sexy concept, we do not seem to be that sexy.”

Each member then explains their roles in the group. Moonbyul is said to be in charge of rap and performance, Wheein on vocals and performance, Whasa on vocals and rap and Solar with vocals and being the leader of the group.

Solar then comments, “As the leader, if the members are not comfortable about something, I act as the representative and put forward suggestions.” When she was asked as to what was her most recent suggestion, Solar then replies, “I asked to see if it was okay if we wore slippers in the dressing room.”

Meanwhile, MAMAMOO has recently released their first full album “Melting” along with the lead tracks “You’re The Best,” “I Miss You,” and “Taller Than You.” The group made their debut in 2014 with the song “Mr. Ambiguous.”
