It has been reported that hip hop duo Leessang would be making a comeback to the music scene after three years.

A representative of Leessang Company confirmed the comeback on StarNews, “Leessang would be releasing a digital single on July 15.” The representative also reveals that the duo have recently recorded their new song.

“After the song is released, they do not have plans to promote it on broadcast. The priority is to release their new music which they have prepared for their fans,” the representative further reveals.

The duo is said to have written songs whenever they have spare time but was not satisfied with the results up until now. The new single is also said to have a slower beat along with the duo’s unique music style.

Although both members Gil and Gary have took part in collaborations with other artists and other projects, it has been three years since the duo released their album “Unplugged”.

Previously, Gil went into a self-imposed hiatus from music as well as on variety shows such as “Infinity Challenge” after he was caught driving while being in the influence of alcohol in April of last year.

Leessang Company revealed, “He has recently been out of the news, however he has been meeting with his fans on stage through different events”

Leessang is also revealed to be participating in “Birthrate Project – 19+ Concert” on July 5.
