Super Junior member Kyuhyun picks his ideal successor who would replace him on MBC’s “Radio Star.”

During the recent broadcast of MBCFM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Midday Song of Hope,” Kyuhyun talks about his MC stint on “Radio Star.”

He shared, “My life has changed a lot because of ‘Radio Star.’ Things have worked out well for me thanks to the program and I have gained a lot from it. I am grateful that I have gained more than what I have lost while being on the show.”

When DJ Kim Shin Young commented about Kyuhyun’s nearing mandatory military enlistment and asked, “Don’t you have to step down from the program?”

Kyuhyun then answered, Kim Gura has been saying that for two years now. Of course, I will be enlisting just like every man should. However, the general public keeps on saying that I have not gone yet despite always talking about it. That is all because of Kim Gura.”

With regards to his replacement, he revealed, “I have two wishes for my replacement. First is that, if the public is willing to forgive him, I would like to see Shin Jung Hwan come back. The other is for an idol member who would be enlisting in years to replace me, whom I could replace once I come back and he has to leave.”

“Either of the two options would be great. I have not really put that much thought into who my successor will be on the show yet,” he added.
