Female soloist Juniel reveals her difficult financial situation with her management agency FNC Entertainment.
On the recent broadcast of MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Hope Song at Noon,” Juniel confesses that she has financial difficulties.
When DJ Kim Shin Young asked Juniel, “What were your thoughts when you got your account balance for the very first time?” She then responds by saying, “I thought that I was done for.”
The female singer then goes to explain, “FNC Entertainment does not give us money unless we break even.” She also adds, “I don’t have money, I just keep on accumulating debt.”
Upon hearing Juniel’s financial situation, Kim Shin Young then offers her some words of comfort by saying, “Once you keep on composing your own tracks, you would be able to start earning more money.”
Juniel started her singer career in Japan by winning a Japanese audition program “Nijo Iro Supernova”. She then trained in Good Entertainment and transferred to FNC Entertainment. She made her official debut in Korea with the track “illa-illa” on June of 2012.
In December of 2013, she joined forces with label mate CNBLUE’s Lee Jonghyun and released a special digital album “Romantic J”, with the lead track “Love Falls.” The track was revealed to be inspired from the Hollywood movie, “Music and Lyrics.” Lee Jonghyun composed the music while Juniel wrote the lyrics.
In August, she made her comeback with the digital single “Sorry” and promoted on various music shows.
