Hyunseung officially withdraws from Cube Entertainment boy group BEAST.

On April 19, BEAST’s management label Cube Entertainment has announced that Hyunseung would be leaving the group and that BEAST would carry on as a 5-member boy group with the remaining members Doojoon, Junhyung, Yoseob, Kikwang, and Dongwoon. Cube Entertainment also reveals that Hyunseung would still be under their management as a solo artist.

Previously, the BEAST member has received criticisms for his alleged bad attitude and for missing out on some of the activities of BEAST due to personal reasons. Although Hyunseung and Cube apologized, he was still rumored to be leaving the group to which Cube Entertainment first denied.

Cube Entertainment also reveals:

“Hyunseung and the members have started out with different views on music had different personalities. After continual discussion with regards to their growth as a group, we have collected the opinion that BEAST should move forward as a 5-member group. For the last seven years, BEAST and the fans have worked to reach the united goal of reaching the top without rest. This decision was not easy for the company nor the members.

The 5-member BEAST will carry on by preparing a new album and fulfilling domestic promotions in 2016. We ask that you would give continual support and interest to BEAST and Hyunseung, who will both be doing their best in their respective places.”

Stay tuned for more updates on BEAST and Hyunseung!
