Epik High Tablo’s new record label HIGHGRND revealed that Lee Hi is currently working on her new album.

On December 21, the record label has made their post on their official Twitter account saying, “Lee Hi is making a great deal of progress on her new music.”

A further tweet from Tablo’s label revealed that Lee Hi is still under YG Entertainment and that HIGHGRND would only be producing her musically, with Epik High members Tablo and DJ Tukutz overseeing her personally. It would not be the first time that they would be working together as Epik High and Lee Hi have previously collaborated with the song “It’s Cold.”

Tablo previously revealed that since YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk has his hands full due to BIGBANG, iKON and Psy’s albums, he was worried that Lee Hi would not be able to get the attention which she deserves and have asked him to take over in producing her comeback.

Meanwhile, it Lee Hi’s comeback date has not been confirmed yet, it would then be her first solo comeback since 2013. She made her debut in 2012 with the album, “First Love” after becoming the first runner-up of the talent show, “K-Pop Star”.

She has also participated in the project groups BH (BomHi) with 2NE1’s Park Bom for the song, “All I Want For Christmas is You” and Hi Suhyun with Akdong Musician’s Suhyun for the song “I’m Different” which also features iKON’s Bobby.
