Actress and model Clara returns to Korea following her legal battle with former agency Polaris Entertainment.
On the recent broadcast of SBS’ “One Night of TV Entertainment,” Clara sat down for an interview and revealed her thoughts on meeting her fans once again and on her previous legal battle.
Clara has expressed her nervousness at meeting her fans once again and felt regretful that all the work she had built up for nine years have disappeared so fast.
It has been known that Clara had requested a contract termination with her then agency Polaris Entertainment on grounds of sexual harassment from its CEO Lee Kyu Tae. Polaris Entertainment countered her lawsuit stating that she was blackmailing them in order to get her contract terminated.
Regarding the settlement of their legal dispute, she reveals, “It was not done suddenly. The representatives met often. As the issue got bigger, we have decided that it would be better for both of us to settle it as soon as possible.”
Clara also reveals that she had visited Lee Kyu Tae who is currently in a detention center. She says, “Since we have settled everything. I thought that it was right to go and see him. The two of us have decided that we have dragged it on for too long and it became a battle of pride and emotions. Now it feels like a weight has been lifted off my mind.”
