The member has been reported to have injured his head after colliding with the ceiling at around 3 am of April 5 while practicing the choreography of their new song “Get Down.” During the part where Minsu steps into dancer’s arms to jump off, he accidentally hit his head on the ceiling. As a result, Minsu was then taken to the emergency room to receive stitches.
A representative from Boy Republic’s label confirms the accident and explains, “There was an extra practice lesson which took place during dawn in order for Boys Republic to have a better performance. The members were with dancers in a location where they have never practiced before. Minsu bumped his head since the ceiling in that practice room was low.”
The representative also reveals, “He is currently resting for him to fully recover. We would have to discuss future promotions. His health is our priority.”
Meanwhile, Boys Republic debuted back in June of 2013 with their single “Party Rock.” They are also known for their songs, “You’re Special to Me,” “Video Game,” “Dress Up,” “The Real One,” and “Hello.” On March 30, the group made their comeback with the song “Get Down” from their third EP album “BR:evolution.”
