Big Hit Entertainment CEO, Bang Si Hyuk, talks about the possibility of BTS making their debut in the U.S. market.

During an interview, the CEO shared his thoughts on the boy group’s success by saying, “A big thing which BTS excels in is that all of the members participate in writing, composition and producing music. In the group, each of them knows exactly what it is that he needs to do and he does it perfectly.”

With regards to the possibility of entering the U.S. market, Bang Si Hyuk shared, “A K-Pop artist succeeding in Korea and getting noticed in the U.S. market is different in every way from entering the U.S. market and competing with the mainstream artists in there.”

BTS have the strengths as K-Pop artists. They have made it to where they are right now by playing with those strengths. As a result, we will be focusing on BTS’s growth as K-Pop artists in the future as well. During that process of growth, if the group surpasses that critical point and is able to be noticed by the U.S and jump into that market, we would be very thankful. However, I think that actively preparing for the U.S. market would be biting off more than we can chew,” he continued.

Meanwhile, BTS is known for their songs “Run,” “I Need U,” “For You” and “Boy in Luv.”
