Actress Park So Dam talks about her rough beginnings and reveals her role model.
On the recent “The Medici 2016” event held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Park So Dam talks about her humble beginnings. The event is a culture and arts program where experts and beginners of various fields gather and share their thoughts and insights.
She reveals, “Back when I was in high school, I went to see the ‘Grease’ musical. I thought that the artists looked very happy while singing and sweating as they ran around the stage. That was then I decided that I wanted to do that. I thought, ‘I want a life that is as fun and happy and theirs.’”
Park So Dam also shares, “When I was still starting out, for two and a half years, I went to every audition which a rookie actress could go to. In almost a month, I auditioned for about 17 projects. I was always rejected and that really brought me down. I was think a lot on what it was that I am good at, instead of choosing my projects, I often ended up doing things here and there.”
When asked about her role model, the actress answers, “It is Kim Hye Soo sunbae. I have great respect for her. I think that it is so cool that her acting experience covers a wide spectrum. I want to be like that.”
Meanwhile, the actress in recently starring in the ongoing tvN drama, “Cinderella and Four Knights.”
