Twenty male Korean hip hop artists vote for their favorite female Korean rappers.
On a recent survey by media portal E-Daily, 20 male Korean hip hop artists voted for the female hip hop artists that they felt were the best rappers in the country.
It is said that the male rappers who took part in the poll are Rhymer, Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko and Choiza, Primary, San E, Verbal Jint, Leessang members Gary and Gil, Mighty Mouth’s Sangchu, Epik High members Tablo, DJ Tukutz and Mithra Jin, Geek’s Lil Boy and Louie, Baechigi’s Moowoong, Sleepy, Big Tray and J’Kyun.
Yoon Mi Rae took the top spot of the poll and was named as Korea’s best female rapper by her male peers after gaining 30% of the votes. The participant who took part in the survey stated that people should recognize her as the top female rapper of the country.
Meanhile, Jessi of Lucky J came in at 2nd place at the poll with 25% of votes, while the winner of “Unpretty Rapstar” Cheetah tied with 2ne1’s CL for third place with 10% of votes. EXID’s LE came in next with 7.5% of votes.
Yoon Mi Rae is currently a member of hip hop trio MFBTY (My Fans are Better Than Yours) along with husband Tiger JK and Bizzy. She is also a former member of duo Tashannie and hip hop group Uptown. Jessi on the other hand, has received attention for participating “Unpretty Rapstar” and winning the second place.
