Yoon Eun Hye’s representative talks about the actress’ recent public apology on her first public event since the plagiarism controversy.
Previously, Yoon Eun Hye has been swept in a controversy after being accused of having plagiarized designs while participating in the Chinese fashion variety show, “Goddess’ Fashion.” The controversy led the actress to not attend the Busan International Film Festival in October despite the screening of her short film “Red Eye.”
On December 11, the actress made her first public appearance for a promotional event for designer brand Samantha Thavasa. Yoon Eun Hye then says, “Thank you for coming. I apologize for causing trouble. I will work hard in order to not disappoint you.”
Following the event, a representative of Yoon Eun Hye then talks about the apology through an interview with Korean media outlet TV Report, “Yoon Eun Hye was very nervous before the event. The time for the apology was arranged since this was her first time appearing on public following the controversy, and she said herself that she would of course make an apology.”
When asked regarding Yoon Eun Hye’s future projects, her side reveals, “She has no plans for activities yet.”
Previously her representatives has also confirmed that Yoon Eun Hye would not be participating in the next season of the Chinese fashion variety show.
Meanwhile, Yoon Eun Hye’s new film “After Love” which was initially scheduled to premiere this year has been postponed to 2016.
