Shinhwa member Kim Dong Hwan gives an advice to his juniors on his winning speech at “The Show.”

On the recent broadcast of SBS MTV’s “The Show,” Kim Dong Hwan takes home the music show trophy for his track “I’m Fine.”

Kim Dong Hwan went up against rookie groups TWICE, Lovelyz, SEVENTEEN and MONSTA X. The Shinhwa member wins with 7,402 points against TWICE’s 7,383 points, making him the chart winner for the week.

In his speech, Kim Dong Hwan says, “Wow, thank you so much.” He further says that he feel embarrassed for winning the chart while there are so many of his juniors around him. He then thanks his fans, the members of Shinghwa and the other people who are supporting him.

He then says, “Before getting in stage, I heard that one of my juniors recently passed away. I am very sorry and it keeps me from being completely happy about my win. However, I hope that the juniors here today who have chosen to join their endless competition would continue to try their best in order to overcome challenges.”

Finally Kim Dong Hwan says, “I would be taking this trophy home today, I’m sorry.” He adds, “To the members, I love you. Thank you.”

Earlier, it has been reported that Kim Hyun Ji, a former “Superstar K” contestant has been found dead along with two other males inside of a car. The police suspects that it was a case of suicide.
