Few people had anticipated such a
great success from a brand new female R&B group. As One has not only
topped all expectations, but they have far exceeded by having a superb
selling premier album, "Day By Day", which was released in late
last year. The first disc of this two-disc album is identical to the
premier album. The additional second CD has four audio tracks as well six
video tracks to make this album a very desirable collection for As One
fans. Who would of have guess that they can make a trance edit for track
#4 ("Sarang"), but amazingly they were able to do so.
Tracks 3,4 & 5 were really popular hits and really positioned As One as one of the best Korean R&B group out there. The duet harmonize well together to present a comfortable, sweet voice that brings out the romantic R&B feelings from the well-written songs. The entire album is full of great songs, from light hearted songs like tracks 6,8 & 9 to English songs (tracks 11 & 12). There are other female kpop groups that have some R&B songs in them, but so far none of the groups has the flavor like As One.
