Kim Min Hee has become a princess. She has always been known for her uniqueness which has attracted many fans. She has also been known for her great and unique way with words. Just recently, she has shot pictures (possibly for a catalog) with Park Kwang Hyun. She has finally become a college student and was determined to show a new self with a femininity, sexiness and many various poses, showing her capabilities and her talents she has brought up as a model. This photo shoot was for an international designer who said that "she's like a doll" when asked why she decided to use Kim Min Hee as her model. During this photo shoot, she showed her angelic, cute and princess-like image.

Won Bin has travelled to the beach in the Phillipines. It was to shoot a summer catalog/photo shoot, showing her freshness and his sexiness. In a vote online, he was voted fourth for the most handsome male (Ggot Mi Nam). He also shot pictures with a black and white puppy who he played with, waiting for the rain to stop. He is known for her tough yet child-like innocence and his smile. And also known as a very quiet celebrity who is hard to interview, he finished it all off with his simple infamous smile.

Kim Hae Jah has traveled to Afghanistan to promote helping the Afghani people. When she arrived, she was grieved that the children had no shoes and had poor clothes. These children who have been hurt from years of war which spanned over a 25-year period, ate raw spinach which caused food poisoning if extreme, because they do not have any such thing as flour. She showed her tears as she saw how skinny the children were, blaming the adult world for their hurt, suffering, and death. She had brought over some boxes of crackers and cookies to give to the children, yet instead of being a snack, it was a necessity. She is still over there right now and SBS has asked that if anybody would like to help or contribute to these poor children, to call a certain number. (If you wish for that number, just email me.)

Singer Lee Seung Hwan had a Seoul Ssen Encore Concert, just finishing off his tour concert.

A group of old singers has come up with an album called "Friends" (more news on this later).

Finkl's New Experience Posted December 31, 1969 by Chrissy
Finkl has appeared in sitcom, "Let's Go". Lee Jin plays a quite ganster-like girl, Sung Yuri is a mirror princess, Lee Hyori uses her tough image, and Ock JuHyun is a flower girl. These characters are based upon their music video "Young Won", but only an extreme sarcastic interpretation of some aspects of the music video.

They first appear when Lee Sung Jin (NRG) runs into them with his bicycle and they get in a great fight. Hyori plays the tough one whereas the other three members played meek friends, the type who stand behind one person and say "hit them, they're mean". So Hyori shot a few extreme action scenes. To save the realism, in a scene where she slaps Lee Sung Jin, she really slapped him multiple times due to NG's.

Kim Tae Hee, who likes Lee Sung Jin, is in the finale scene with an incredible fight scene with Hyori. Of course, the rehearsal was long to prevent any injury.

They both showed great skills fighting, actually getting many to say that it was better or just as good as any action star. It was also fought in real time with no stunt devils.

Even with this extreme powerful fight sequence, at the end, it ends in a tie.

Finkl had the experience of appearing in sitcom "Gohl Beng Ee @" in 2000 but since then, this was a quite refreshing experience. The Finkl members all pointed out that Yuri's acting has gotten better since then because she has finally grown some confidence in her acting.

This broadcast is supposed to air this coming Monday at 8:35 pm in Korea. Afterwards, they are going to appear weekly.

Celebrities are a Walking Advertisement Posted December 31, 1969 by Chrissy
Many industries use celebrities as a means of advertisement for their product. Why? It's because when stars wear or use that certain product, it becomes quite popular. The two most known stars who do this are Kim Nam Joo and Kim Hee Sun. Kim Hee Sun set the headband she wore in the drama "Tomato" into a fashion trend which is still worn today.

Sometimes, these companies lend or give their product to models but also, models come looking for them. At movie premieres, the outfit and accessories are almost always given to the stars to advertise by a designer. Even Park Kyung Rim gets these products where as she was holding on to her jacket said, "If I take this off, the clothes under here are quite sexy".

Some of the stars who get a lot of these products, especially recently, include Jang Jin Young, Kim Min, Kang Soo Yun, and Kim Ji Ho. The stars also advertise in magazines. How? It's because whenever they appear at a special place like a movie premiere, they are always brought ot the side by photographers from fashion magazines to take a picture. Later, a few pages come out, describing what they wore.

Also, like Kim Hee Sun, many celebrities wear these products during a drama, setting them into the newest fashion statement. Therefore, some of the designers and celebrities have become quite close friends from their many interactions with each other.

Many celebrities go around looking also for foreign goods that are quite well known. One model said that as a celebrity, their job included that they must be ahead in fashion and have a quick sense of where the fashion was leading to.

Whenever there is a festival or a showing of a certain brand company, many celebrities are invited as a means of advertisement. It depends, however, on their image and their popularity because their image also can effect the products image and sales rates. The company never forgets to pack them along their way with a small gift bag either. Even one word out of the mouths of these stars can uplift or ruin the image of the company and of the product.

Today's Dance Posted December 31, 1969 by Chrissy
Even though singers are popular for their vocal skills, a singer can also be known for his/her dance skills. Currently there is a wave of a certain image and a certain dance style in the gayo industry. It is that which shows masculinity and femininity by ways of a "sexy dance". So here are some examples.

SES who has returned with their fifth album "U" has been using their turning of their waist a lot for the effect of this medium tempo dance song. It is a difference from their debut years when they exercised their image by means of a cute and innocent dance style.

BoA who is currently in Japan, whereas her second album in Korea is due out on April 12th, had debuted with a more boyish style in both her image and her dance steps. However, in Japan, she has been entertaining fans with her Jazz-like dance steps, stressing her femininity by using her hips also.

Baby VOX held a fan meeting not too long ago, letting their fans hear their new song "Ooh Yun" ('Coincidence') which had yet not been released into the public. During the fan meeting, they were not shy in showing their sexy and unique dance moves. For this new song, they said that the best points of the dance were where they bobbed their heads and where their dance showed their feminine silouette. Of course, they did not leave out the very important fact that Kang Wuhl Rae (formerly from Clon), who was in a severe accident a few years back paralysing his body from neck-down, choreographed their dance for them.

Park Ji Yoon showed her wave and her feminine silouette during her song "Sung In Shik" ('Adult Ceremony').

Back in the day, these are the singers who were thought to be extreme in their dance:
Ha Choon Hwa who performed in the 70's, used big hand motions which was seen to be quite sexy then.
Kim Wan Sun who performed in the 80's and briefly in the 90's was considered sexy for her aerobic-like dance steps and also her unique hand gestures.

Even with Hip Hop, when a female dances Hip Hop, it seems powerful and extreme now. Sweet, a new group, is showing their music style which is an intercross between hip hop and soul. They are the first in the nation and they use a quite sexy, yet powerful dance technique with "brittle" hand movements and hip hop dance styles. And it is also known that it is Yang Hyun Suk (YG) who made this group.

When you say hand gestures and technique, you cannot leave out hip hop and break dance.

Park Jin Young stressed his masculinity when he performed "Nan Yujah Gah It Neun Dae" ('I have a Girl') and his other songs even starting back from his debut.

Shinhwa shows their strong muscular body which they grew through exercise and weights. For their new song "Perfect Man", they use a stand-up mic, showing a sexy dance style using their bodies, and also showing an extreme move which involves a kick.

jtl's "Enter the Dragon" uses a sort of Bruce Lee style. Their music video involved some 90 something cameras and it is the first HDTV music video in Korea.

Black Beat shows their technical dance with a strong technique. They use massive amounts of popping with their dance but also wave combined with popping. (Note: Popping is a technique in break dance.)

It seems that the singers of today are growing more unique in their style. The females have become more powerful and more feminine while the males have become powerful with techniques in many various different styles.

Kim Jung Eun's Opening Night Posted December 31, 1969 by Chrissy
Yesterday, Kim Jung Eun had her first opening night for her screen debut in "Jeh Mit Neun Yung Hwa" ('Fun Movie'). Since it was her first dash in the movies, she did not hide her happiness nor her nervousness. Many fellow celebrities came to watch with her also including Park Kyung Rim, actor Cha Seung Wun, and actress Lee Mi Yun, who currently has played the role of the queen in KBS's "Myung Sung Wang Hoo".

So what's special about this movie? It is Korea's first parody comic movie! So here are some movies of the 28 parody shots: "Park Ha Sa Tan" ('Mint Candy'), "JSA" where Park Kyung Rim played the role of Lee Bang Hee shooting between people at bottles but ultimately missing, "Chingoo" ('Friend'), "In Jung Sa Jung Bohl Gut Uhbs Da", and so on. Even Kim Jung Eun herself could only point out 15 of the 28 parody scenes so she expressed that it may be interesting for the audience to see how many they can count.

After the premiere, her eyes were sparkling with tears and she told her audience that she felt awesome and that she thanked everyone. Afterwards, as she was waiting outside taking a brief "after" interview, she grabbed people on the way and endlessly advertised for her movie. Her last words regarding this were that she thanked everyone for paying money to come and watch her on the screen when they could just see her for free by turning on the TV.
