YMC Entertainment responds to the alleged reports of rapper Jessi’s involvement in a club dispute.

Recently, the female rapper has been said to be involved in a dispute.

The Apgujeong police branch office received a report on November 17 that there was a physical altercation during a music video shoot at a club in Gangnam District around 9:30 pm.

“There were two groups involved. Jessi’s team and, the alleged male victim, A’s team. They got into a verbal dispute over the fact that the other group did not receive the greeting of the other group. Things worsened into a physical exchange,” the police branch shared.

They added, “At the scene, A testified that Jessi physically hit him. However, Jessi denied the claim. The testimonies were conflicting. However, people did not want to be penalized. At the end of their conversation at the scene, they made up with each other and everything was resolved.”

To this, YMC Entertainment released an official statement denying that there was physical violence.

The agency revealed, “During the shoot for Duble K’s music video where Jessi was set to make a cameo, he met A for the first time in a while. During their conversation, there was a misunderstanding, and they got into a verbal argument. There was absolutely no physical violence involved.”

YMC Entertainment then added, “While the verbal argument was happening, A’s group reported the incident to the police. However, even before the police had arrived, they have already made up. So, the police left the scene. It was simply a happening.”
