SBS music show “Inkigayo” has shocked the fans after revealing that they would be banning BIGBANG from their show.
On the previous broadcast of “Inkigayo” last May 24, all the five members have made an appearance in order to perform their song ‘Loser’ from ‘M’ of their ‘MADE Series’.
At the end of the episode, BIGBANG won the number 1 spot for ‘Loser’, however, members G-Dragon and T.O.P were not seen during the award segment of the show.
During the winning speech of the group, the three remaining members Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri apologized to fans and the viewers regarding the absence of G-Dragon and T.O.P. They explained that they were shooting for the new music video and had to leave early which is why they were not around for the said segment.
YG Entertainment has also confirmed that the absence of the two members was because of a music video shoot.
Due to this, the staffs of “Inkigayo” decided to ban BIGBANG from the show in order to penalize the two members for failing to appear at the awarding segment.
Many fans were shocked of the show’s decision in banning the group as SBS and YG Entertainment has always been known to have a good relationship. The show has even earned the nickname ‘YG-gayo’ by fans as they have noticed that the show has been favoring YG artists.
