November Comeback List
Lim Chang Jung, Uhm Jung Hwa, S.E.S, god, Country Kko Kko, & Yoo Seung Jun are all to make their comebacks during the month of November. It has also been said that Fly to the Sky and Jinusean are suppose to come back soon but their dates are not definite yet.

J Returns to Her Home in the States(10/26/00)
After being away from her home for 6 months, J will be returning to California in November. Her last goodbye preformance was on KBS's Music Bank on October 19th.  She will be returning to her family in San Francisco after wrapping up her 2nd album activities. I've read that she will be staying for about one month before returning to Korea to begin work on her 3rd album, which is planned to be released around April 2001 (Have I missed something? I thought she was suppose to do an English album with BMG in Japan and feature Puff Daddy.  Has she done this already or is she still suppose to do that or what?!).

S#arp's Suh Ji Young Faints(10/26/00)
S#arp's Suh Ji Young fainted on October 22 after the group performed on SBS Inki Gayo. After receiving emergency treatment at Seoul Bang Joo Hospital, she checked into the hospital. She also went into surgery to have her appendix removed.  Doctors say that she needs to rest at least a week.  The group has 4 to 5 schedules per day including shooting the archer Oh Gyo-moon's music video, but all schedules have been postponed indefinitely.  In spite of Ji Young's absence, the group is still able to hold on to their number 1 spot on the KBS Music Bank this week.

Jo Sung Mo to have a National Concert Tour(10/25/00)
Jo Sung Mo plans on a gala nationwide tour next month that will start in Seoul on November 25th. As he is the best selling singer in Korea, he will spend a handsome amount of money on his live concert to live up to his fame.  Last year, he attracted 200,000 fans to his concerts. This year, he plans to bring even more….350,000. His third album has sold more than 2 million copies so far and he is targeting to sell 3 million. In the November concert, he will sing all his hit songs from his three albums and other popular songs ranging from pop and rock’n roll. He is also expected to dance with a dancing team of 20 people.  This should be his best concert yet!

Park Jin-young to leave for higher education in the United States(10/17/00)
Park Jin-young has been a successful music producer since he quit singing. Music critics say that he did a wonderful job with the album of the group G.O.D. Now he wants to study international relations and administration in the United States. He said he registered for a course at the George Washington University for next semester.

Yoo Seung Jun's Music Video News(10/17/00)
A major accident took place during the filming of Yoo Seung Jun's music video "Love and Sacrifice" in Australia. A helicopter and a car collided, resulting in serious injuries for both the helicopter pilot, who will take 9 weeks to recover, and the stuntman who will take 6 weeks to recover. Yoo Seung Jun injured his left elbow, which should take two weeks to heal completely. According to Australian residents, they were filming a scene where the car was being pursued by the helicopter on a highway. The helicopter crashed into the tail of the moving sportscar, and the car spun off the road. The part being filmed was when the car Yoo Seung Jun is in is being chased by bad guys. It suddenly slowed down so that Yoo Seung Jun would be able to get out first, but the helicopter wasn't able to decrease its speed quickly enough. The helicopter pilot broke his ribs and badly injured his femoral (thigh) region. The stuntman received bruises over his whole body. Yoo Seung Jun wasn't as seriously injured because he jumped out before the actual crash, but after receiving a 24-hour treatment in Australia, he quickly returned to Korea on October 15 and received emergency treatment at a hospital in Kang-Nam in Seoul.

Moon Hee Jun's Injury(10/17/00)
H.O.T will probably have to postpone their 5th album activities because the injury to Moon Hee Jun's left knee is more severe than previously thought. The problem probably is that the cartilage in the knee connecting the thigh bone to the calf bone that might have been worn away, causing the bone to rub against the other bone when he moves his left leg. His knee gets worse when he performs the last dance move where he completely bends his legs. Moon Heejun says that it is true that it is getting harder for him to dance, but he is planning to wait for the results from an MRI and thorough examinations before deciding what to do.

Yoo Seung Jun's New Album and Music Video(10/15/00)
Yoo Seung Jun has invested over $700,000 in his new music video "Love and Sacrifice" for his 5th album. Yoo Seung Jun will be going to Brisbane, Australia on the 9th of October for 6 days and 5 nights for the filming of this video. Actress Kim Min Jung will be playing the role of Yoo Seung Jun's little sister. The title of his 5th album hasn't been revealed yet, but he should be beginning his 5th album activities later this month.

Singers Angry with MBC’s Seo Tae-ji Favor(10/11/00)
Why does Seo Tae-ji enjoy all the privilege?  Other top stars and KEPA or the Korea Entertainment Production Association is making a big issue of an MBC(Munhwa Broadcasting Company) music chart program which gave him a “great amount of time” for his comeback special. Jo Sung-mo first made a complaint for the bias in favor of Seo Tae-ji, saying that he doesn’t understand why a pop chart program allotted so much air time to a singer who didn’t even make it in the top ten. Now KEPA is even threatening MBC of banning all its members from appearing on MBC, if it keeps showing favoritism. 

Kim Hyun-jung to hold the first live concert(10/11/00)
Kim Hyun-jung is finally having a concert, which is a long-awaited dream come true. Since her debut, holding a concert was a dream.  However, she thought it would be a shame to have a concert with fewer than 10 hit songs. Nevertheless, she decided to have one in two weeks finishing the promotion of her third album.  The concert dubbed “The Five Star Stories” will show her fans everything about her: her powerful dancing and wealth and variety of her music ranging from rock to hip-hop. She is practicing for her concert day and night. She says she will make an event she and her fans will never forget. 

KBS puts on a Big Show for the Military(10/07/00)
Today, in celebration of Columbus Day, Yongsan Military Base in Seoul Korea held a huge celebration for this special occasion. Among all the festivities, a music show put on by KBS was done. This free show attracted a huge audience, both Military personnel and Korean citizens. With the list of performers, there's no wonder why there were so many people in the audience. Artists such as S#arp, Park Ji Yoon, Lee Jung Hyun, J, Hong Kyoung Min, Kim Hyun Jung, performed, and the list just goes on. Hours of Entertainment went on this afternoon. Prior to the KBS show, there was a dance contest held, and yours truly (that would be me if you're questioning that statement^^) took 1st place! I know, I should be modest, but I think my page is a good place to tell everyone. I had tons of fun at this concert and just wanted to share with everyone!

HOT, SES, Shinwha, In Concert(10/04/2000)
The SM Entertainment team, HOT, SES, Shinwha, Fly To The Sky, Boa, will be in a concert together in order to help out the poor and old prominents. This concert will be held on 8th at Inchon Stadium at 1900hours along with 50 other senior singers. This concert is sponsored by SM Entertainment. The fund raised at the concert will be used to help out the needy prominents. (02-733-6111)

Country kko kko holds a concert to raise fund for reunification(10/04/00)
Country kko kko love to call themselves “national singers.” The term seems suitable for the dual with a wide range of fans. They are also the most wanted by radio and TV producers for their superb sense of humor and entertainment skills.  They are now turning to the national issue: reunification. They say they will start a national tour on October 13^th to raise funds for reunification. Tak Jae-hoon of the group says they decided on the plan after watching separated family members reunite in Seoul on TV in August.  

Baby Vox Busy with Overseas Concerts(10/04/00)
The five beautiful girls of Baby Vox are top stars in Korea, however, they seem to be even greater stars abroad.  They are seldom seen on domestic TV or radio programs these days because of frequent overseas performances. They held coast-to-coast concerts in the United States on September 22^nd through 30^th.  On October 2^nd through 6^th, they will sing for their Chinese fans in Beijing and Shanghai. Later in the month, concerts are scheduled in Tokyo, Japan.

Seo Taiji, Full of Schedules (10/03/2000)
Seo Taiji performed at Mesa, near Namdaemun on 5th for an MBC programme, which it has been still unrevealed of which it's going to be. His "Self-Camera" was broadcasted on 4th through "Section TV Entertainment". On 5th he shot some commercial photos for ProSpecs, which he signed a contract recently. Next week he will be filming the TV version of the advertisement. He is also invited to perform in the "TTL Concert 2000" on 15th at Chamsil Main Stadium. He will also be perfoming at "Sounds of Peace", a concert which features The Scorpions, Art Garfunkel, on 19th.

October Comeback List:
Fin.K.L., H.O.T., S.E.S., Yoo Seung Jun, Uhm Jung Hwa, and G.O.D. All of these groups will be making there return appearances during the month of October.
