Actress Kim Yoo Jung has released an official apology regarding alleged rude behavior during a preview screening of her upcoming film, “Because I Love You.”
A post titled, “Kim Yoo Jung’s stage manner attitude” circulated online, showing Kim Yoo Jung at the official preview screening on December 20.
In the said video clip, Kim Yoo Jung was said to be acting distracted (leaning on one leg, instead of standing straight and looking at her nails) while the others were formally greeting the audience on stage. But later on, the actress then greeted the audience with a 90-degree bow.
Following this, netizens were divided on whether the behavior was disrespectful or not.
Kim Yoo Jung then released an official apology through her agency, SidusHQ, saying, “Kim Yoo Jung is completely aware of the issues that have been spread online with regards to the preview screening and is currently reflecting on her own attitude as a result of the controversy. She is also sorry to her trusting fans who may have been disappointed in her.”
The agency also added, “We will work hard to make sure that an issue like this would not happen again. Once again, Kim Yoo Jung apologizes for the trouble that she has caused to many people in this case.”
Meanwhile, the actress has canceled some of the promotional interviews for her movie since she is receiving treatments for her severe cold.
