B1A4 member Sandeul talks about his solo debut and featuring MAMAMOO’s Wheein.
On the recent broadcast of MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Noon Song of Hope,” the B1A4 member appeared as a special guest to promote his solo album, “Stay As You Are.”
When asked his personal rating for his new album, he responds, “Seven. I like the number seven. I have no intention to really give it a grade. It feels like I have poured everything into the album, so I just wish that people would love it more.”
DJ Kim Shin Young then comments, “Among the members of a group, the person who sings the best tends to put out solo music first.”
Sandeul then responds, “I do not think that that is the case for us. I do not have that many parts. There are other voices which bring life to a song. We are the type to put the focus on that person.”
With regards to his recent solo debut, Sandeul then shares, “I felt heavily burdened. While preparing for my solo, I often felt, ‘I have lived all this time depending on my members.’”
The B1A4 member then talks about his song, “Hey,” which features MAMAMOO’s Whee In by saying, “There is a saying featuring MAMAMOO’s Whee In. It is a song about young love.”
He adds, “I was really surprised since she could sing really well. I hope that many people realize her singing talent.”
