Female solo singer IU continues to top the Gaon singles chart with her title song “YOU&I” from her 2nd studio album “Last Fantasy,” which she released on November 29th. This week makes IU’s 3rd week in first place on the singles chart for the week of December 11-17th.
Following behind in 2nd place is the Cube Entertainment sub-unit Troublemaker, also known as JS & Hyuna, with their self-titled song “Troublemaker.” Last week, they were also found in 2nd place.
In 3rd place is, Huh Gak & LE(EXID)’s title song “Every time I Hear This Song,” moving up 6 places from last week.
For the weekly Gaon albums chart, on the other hand, SMTOWN takes 1st place with their English winter album, “The Warmest Gift.” SMTOWN consists of all SM Entertainment artists singing as one family. Unlike past SMTOWN albums, this family album has been completely sung in English.
In 2nd place is BoyFriend, making their debut with their 3rd single “I’ll Be There.” Yim Jaebum finished the top 3 with his special album “Free.”
