First generation idol group Sechs Kies revealed to be considering to promote on music shows for their music comeback after sixteen years.
Recently, the group made their comeback with their new digital single, “Three Words,” which is written and composed by their YG Entertainment labelmate, Epik High member Tablo.
After the release of their single, the song immediately reached the top spot on various real time charts, such as MelOn, Olleh Music, Naver Music, Genie, Bugs, Mnet, Monkey3, and Soribada.
Following Sechs Kies’s impressive chart performance, a representative from YG Entertainment reveals, “Originally, Sechs Kies had no plans to perform on music shows. But, since a lot of people liked their new song, we are currently in discussion as to whether or not they will participate in those music shows.”
The representative also reveals, “We are planning to have an in-depth discussion with the members once more about their possible appearance on music chart shows.”
Sechs Kies made their debut back in 1997 with the single, “School Song.” The group then announced their disbandment in 2000. In April of this year, the group then made their reunion concert through the popular MBC variety show, “Infinite Challenge.”
