It seems that the Korean movie levels are still hanging high as it set off the Korean weekend box office from 13th of May up to the 15th. “Sunny 2010” is currently the number one as it is from the past week, earning an impressive 616, 400 admissions. The film that was under the director of “Speedy Scandal” which is Kang Hyeong Cheol had dominated the charts with its closest opponent that was 393,524 tickets behind. The film is currently approaching the two million mark and as you can see its current status right now on the top, they can surely reach that mark sooner or later.

The movie source code had retain on its number two spot with 222, 876 admissions. This action thriller is a definitely not to miss film as it shows great appearances and receives much praises from critics and regular viewers. “Thor” had gotten down to the 4th spot after switching its position with “The Apprehenders” that is directed by Lim Chan Ik. Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson aka “The Rock” is still good as ever in the action movie “Fast Five”. Though it is still on its spot just like how it used to be from the past weekends, this week it only got 92,337 admissions. Next is the “3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy”, the 3D follow-up of the “Sex and Zen” erotic series. On the 7th spot, Wilson Yip’s remake for “A Chinese Fairy Tale” was then ranked. This supernatural and love story is based from a short story by Pu Songling’s and some stars Louis Koo, Yu Shaoqun, Liu Yife, and Fan Siu-Wong. There are also the two Japanese manga movies, “Crayon Shin Chan: Super Dimension! The Storm Called My Bride” and the “Inazuma Eleven The Movie: Saikyou Gundan Ogre Shuurau” are reaching the bottom end of the charting with 48,120 admissions between them. On the other hand, “Clash of the Families” that is under the direction of Kim Jin Yeong was currently on the 9th rank with a total of 2, 544, 241 admissions, also receiving great responses from viewers.
