Singer Kang Ta has once again proved his status as a top hallyu star in China by becoming the first foreign artist to win the Most Valuable Entertainer in TV Advertisement Award.
Kang received the award along with Zhang Ziyi and Cheung Pak Chi at the 1st International Exhibition and Advertisement Art Golden Palm award ceremony, which was held Dec. 25 at the Asia-Pacific International Conference Hall in Hainan, China.
Sponsored by various Chinese governmental agencies and CCTV, the International Exhibition and Advertisement Art Golden Palm award is the most prestigious award in China’s advertisement industry. This year’s award ceremony was attended by high-ranking government officials and executives from China’s 500 leading corporations.
On Dec. 22, Kang received the Most Brilliant Versatile Entertainer award from Guangdong TV, and on Dec. 23 staged an impressive performance at TVB’s “Lee Young-ae’s Charity Night” event that was held in Hong Kong. At the event, Kang greeted the audience in Cantonese and performed the Chinese version of his song entitled “Mask.”
Kang will spend the last days of this year in China, participating in various promotional events.

Though I'm new to da Korean music scenerio, I was simply inpressed by Kang Ta da first time I ever saw him! He looks really great in PERSONA & I wonder how U guyz call him ugly & not hot!
