YG Entertainment reveals debut plans for their new boy group iKON.

On September 8, YG Entertainment has finally announced the debut schedule for iKON through their official blog site YG Life. Accordingly, the boy group would be releasing their “warm up single” with their first music video on September 15. It would then be followed up with the “half album” of their debut album which includes six tracks on October 1.

Finally, the group would then be releasing their full-length debut album on November 2 with 12 tracks.


With their periodic releases, iKON’s debut album would resemble label mate BIGBANG’s “MADE” series which spanned from May to September.

iKON is also set to perform on Olympic Gymnastics Arena for their debut showcase, which is said to be Korea’s largest venue with over 14,000 seats.


iKON was introduced as Team B in the reality survival program “Who is Next: WIN”, the members include B.I, Bobby, Donghyuk, Jinhwan, Junhoe, and Yunhyeong. They competed with Team A who won and got the chance to debut as WINNER. Team B then participated in another reality survival program “Mix and Match” with three new trainees Chanwoo, Jinhyeong and Hongseok.

After the survival program, it was then confirmed that B.I, Bobby, Jinhwan, Donghyuk, Junhoe, Yunhyeong and Changwoo would be debuting as iKON.

Meanwhile, iKON and WINNER has starred in a project film ‘dimension’ which was released on September 7.
