BIGBANG leader G-Dragon has recently made headlines after having a controversial encounter with a fan during his arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport. YG Entertainment then steps up to reveal their official statement.

On April 25, a photo became viral after a female fan fell down as a bodyguard tries to shove her after attempting to film G-Dragon up close.

G-Dragon airportThe photo has made its rounds through various social media sites and received mixed reactions from netizens. Some netizens have claimed that it was the fan’s fault for going too far by filming the BIGBANG member up close while some have also said that the bodyguard didn’t really have to push her causing her to fall. Some netizens have also attacked G-Dragon for just walking ahead as if nothing happened while some have also defended him by saying that he probably did not notice that the female fan fell after being pushed by the bodyguard.

With regards to the controversy, G-Dragon’s management agency YG Entertainment has stepped up to release their official statement. The company reveals, “We have checked the Chinese reports and the incident at the said location. We have determined that none of the bodyguards, who were protecting G-Dragon, were employees of our agency.”
