On October 5, Yedang Entertainment has released a statement through Facebook and on their official café regarding the status of C-CLOWN.

They reveal, “C-CLOWN who debuted on July 19, 2012 with ‘SOLO’ has officially disbanded after 3 years. Yedang Entertainment would like to bow our heads in gratitude to the members (Rome, Siwoo, Ray, Kang Jun, T.K and Maru) and to ‘CROWN,’ who has always loved C-CLOWN’s music.”

“C-CLOWN’s activities are ending, however please show encouragement and applause to the members who would be going back to their place to prepare for a new challenge. Yedang Entertainment would continue to remember the fans’ support and do our best to improve,” they add.

Finally, the reveal, “The official SNS channels excluding Youtube, and the official C-CLOWN fan café would have a grace period of a month from October 5 then it would become private, so please take this into consideration. Thank you.”

C-CLOWnThe six-member boy group debuted in July 2012 with the lead single “Solo.” Their latest release was “Let’s Love” last July 2014.

On April of 2015, member Rome became controversial due to his cryptic post on SNS which led to rumors of the disbandment of the group or that he would be leaving the C-CLOWN. He changed his Instagram username to @christianyu_ and have deleted all of his photos in his account. Moreover, his account had the description, “they turned me into something that I am not. Never forget what I did for u,” which he later shortened to, “never… forget…”
