Rapper Verbal Jint admits that he had a DUI incident through his Instagram post and revealed that his license would be revoked.

On June 19, Verbal Jint writes on his Instagram account:

“Hello.  I apologize for bringing bad news.

I want to tell you that four days before, I was caught drunk driving in my neighborhood. I had a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.067 percent. My license is expected to be suspended for 100 days.

I have no intention of coming up with excuses because I am at fault. I am deeply regretful of my reckless actions and neglecting the possibility of a drunk driver becoming an assailant.

I believe that this is something which should not and cannot be hidden. Thus, I am writing this post that makes me feel ashamed. Once again, I deeply apologize for showing a disappointing side of myself.”

Fans have also praised the rapper for being honest about his mistake.

Meanwhile, Verbal Jint has been reported to have been pulled over for DUI in Mapo District, Seoul around 10 pm on June 16. The rapper was driving his own car and has admitted to the charges. He has also taken part in the police investigation for the case.

Verbal Jint is known for his songs, “If The World Was Perfect,” “Pretty Enough,” “I’m the Man,” “I Smell Autumn,” “If It Ain’t Love” and “Only For You.”
