“A,” who accused Uhm Tae Woong of sexual assault, has been revealed to be a massage parlor employee. During the police investigations, they have found evidence that “A” partnered with massage parlor owner, “B,” in order to blackmail the actor and ask compensation for his alleged sexual assault against “A.”
While questioning “B,” the police obtained evidence that Uhm Tae Woong visited and paid money this past January to the massage parlor who is known for offering sexual services.
Media outlet, SBS funE then released an interview with the workers of the alleged massage parlor, to which one staff revealed, “I saw Uhm Tae Woong visit the parlor back in May. He was alone, and he looked like he was angry about something.”
Another staff also shared, “I heard that since he is famous, he was blackmailed.”
While Uhm Tae Woong has been cleared of sexual assault charges, the police will now continue to investigate him for charges of solicitation. Meanwhile, “A” is currently facing charges of false accusation and prostitution. She would also be facing charges of blackmail along with “B.”
Uhm Tae Woong’s management agency, KeyEast Entertainment then reveals, “We do not know all the details of the police investigation… We will release our official statement once the investigations are over.”
