First generation idol group Turbo celebrates their 20th anniversary by releasing a comeback album “Again.”

Their comeback album marks their first comeback after 15 years since their disbandment in 2001.

It is also the first time since their debut that Turbo returned as a trio with members Kim Jong Kook, Kim Jung Nam and Mikey.

The group debuted in 1995 under their management agency The Turbo Co. They started as a duo with Kim Jong Kook as vocalist and Kim Jung Nam as rapper and choreographer. Years after, Kim Jong Kook returned with Mikey following Kim Jung Nam’s disagreement with their agency leading him to withdraw from the group.

In 2001, Turbo officially disbanded with Kim Jong Kook’s contract expiration with the agency and Mikey’s visa also expiring. The members then pursued their solo careers following their disbandment.

On their title track, “Again” comedian and MC Yoo Jae Suk’s vocals were featured in the start and end of the dance track, introducing himself as MC Nal Yoo (which he got from variety show, “Infinite Challenge”). Moreover, actors Cha Tae Hyun and Lee Kwang Soo made a surprise appearance at the end of the music video as the credits rolled out for everyone who has participated in the creation of the 20th anniversary comeback album of the group.

Meanwhile, Turbo is currently promoting their album through music shows.
