Epik High member Tablo reveals Hyukoh as the first artist to join his new label HIGHGRND.

On July 21, Tablo shares on his Instagram account a short clip with a message, “I introduce HIGHGRND’s first artist Hyukoh.”

The video clip features Hyukoh’s leader and vocalist Oh Hyuk.

The indie band Hyukoh debuted in September last year with the mini album “20”. It consists of Oh Hyuk – leader, vocalist and guitarist, Im Hyun Je – guitarist, Im Dong Gun – bassist, and Lee In Woo – drummer.

Their track “Comes and Goes” from their second mini-album “22” which was released on May 2015 has reached the top spots on various charts.


In 2015, they participated in the 2015 Infinite Challenge Summer Music Festival in the MBC hit variety show “Infinite Challenge”. The band has then receive positive responses and risen to fame with their appearance on the show. They have also entered in the top ten of Bill Board World Album’s Chart two months following the release of their second mini-album.

Meanwhile, High Ground, stylized as HIGHGRND, is new label created by Tablo which aims to introduce talented and individualistic artists. The new label is also a sub label of YG Entertainment. With Hyukoh as their first artist, the label would officially start being active.
