SISTAR leader Hyorin reveals her thoughts on joining Mnet’s survival female rap battle show “Unpretty Rapstar 2”.

On September 8, a press conference was held and Hyorin reveals the reason why she joined the show.

Hyorin reveals, “If you look at it, I could lose a lot if I join ‘Unpretty Rapstar 2’, however, I have always wanted and loved rapping, I just never had a chance to.”

She adds, “There is a limit when it comes to how much you can show when you are in a group, so even though there is a lot which I could lose, I still wanted to take this challenge. It is not so much that I was scared about what I could lose, rather, I duly considered it and decided to join ‘Unpretty Rapstar 2’.”

Hyorin also says, “I think I will gain that much more.”

Previously, many fans were shocked upon hearing the news that Hyorin would be entering the show instead of Bora who is the main rapper in the group. However she has revealed that she has always wanted to try rapping.

Recently, she has participated in a hip-hop collaboration with Block B’s Zico and Paloalto with the track “Dark Panda”.
