Sistar rapper Bora could not help but burst into tears and be emotional as she remembers and talks about her father’s sudden death and talks about her concerns for her mother’s health in the latest episode of “Vitamin”.
In the recent episode of KBS2TV’s health show “Vitamin”, members Soyou and Bora of girl group Sistar appeared as special guests, along with ZE:A’s Kwanghee, Kim Jung Ryul, Hong Yeo Jin, and Hyunyoung for the “Family Month” special of the show.
The “Family Month” special was made to celebrate Korea’s Parent’s Day as well as the Children’s Day holidays.
In the episode, Bora sheds tears as she recalls the sudden death of her father due to gastric cancer and worries about her mother’s health. Bora has also revealed that her father died at the very same day when she got a love call from JYP Entertainment.
Bora recalls a difficult situation in her life saying, “My father died the very day that I got a call from Park Jin Young’s company.”
Bora has also stated that she has been concerned about her mother’s health especially after her father’s sudden death saying, “When my father, who looked so healthy, had suddenly passed away, I am always thinking about the health of my mother.”
She also bursts into tears after seeing a video footage of her mother who is now living alone.
She has also sent a message to her mother saying, “Let us have healthy lives and move forward! I love you.”
