Former F-ve Dolls and Co-Ed School member Ryu Hyoyoung reveals her thoughts on her contract termination with MBK Entertainment.

On March 11, Hyoyoung posts, “I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has fought by my side. Thanks to the people around me, I was able to endure some hardships.”

She adds, “I am very glad that I could be able to start working again! I will do my best to become a great actress. Thank you.”

Previously, she had requested to terminate her contract with MBK Entertainment, formerly known as Core Contents Media, following the disbandment of F-ve Dolls.

On March 10, the Seoul Central District Court favored her request. Thus, the former idol member is now free to get back to work.

Her attorney reveals, “The court had issued lawful termination of exclusive contract with Core Contents Media and Ryu Hyoyoung. With regards to MBK Entertainment, we stated the fact that Core Contents Media did not transfer ownership of Ryo Hyoyoung to MBK Entertainment. We used that as our evidence to request the termination of contract.”

The attorney adds, “I hope that the misunderstanding with regards to Ryu Hyoyoung would get cleared up with the court’s decision.”

Meanwnhile, she is also known for her roles on the dramas, “Family Secrets,” “Wild Chives and Soy Bean Soup: 12 Years Reunion,” “School 2013,” and “The Greatest Love.” Moreover, Hyoyoung is also working as an MC for her own beauty blog, “Beauty Vlog-Blur make-up.”
