It has been previously reported that Lee Seung Gi has been confirmed to join a new variety with Kang Ho Dong and with PD Na Young Suk.
CJ E&M has also been previously revealed to be in discussions to have Eun Ji Won and Lee Soo Geun who were also part of the original cast of KBS hit variety show “1 Night 2 Days”.
It seems that fans would be able to relive the “1 Night 2 Days” feels as PD Na Young Suk and the four cast members Kang Ho Dong, Lee Seung Gi, Eun Ji Won and Lee Soo Geun were recently spotted to be leaving Korea for Xi’an, China on August 6 to film for the upcoming variety show “New Journey to the West”.
CJ E&M revealed through media outlet Sports Chosen, “The filming for the “New Journey to the West” team would be in Xi’an in China. We do not know if there would be any changes in the location, however all of the filming would be done in Xi’an and with no filming in Korea.”
It has also been revealed by the show’s production that the show would not be televised, rather it would be broadcasted on the internet instead.
Meanwhile, the show “New Journey to the West” is expected to be broadcasted at the end of August or at the start of September.
