Actor Kim Joo Hyuk revealed to be leaving KBS 2TV’s hit variety show, “2 Days & 1 Night.”

On November 23, the show revealed, “We are announcing that Kim Joo Hyuk, who has been with us since the start of the third season on December 1, 2013 would be leaving the show.”

They further explained, “Kim Joo Hyuk and the staff have exchanged opinions while deciding when he would be leaving the show. They also want to set an example where both parties would be cheering each other on.”

They also add, “The ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ staff relay our genuine gratitude for his passion through it all. We would never be able to forget him. Though we could not be together on broadcast anymore, we would always be with him in spirit and cheer on Kim Joo Hyuk. We ask the viewers to cheer on actor Kim Joo Hyuk for making the entire country laugh and cry.”

Kim Joo Hyuk along with Kim Jong Min, Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Joon Ho, Defconn, and Jung Joon Young are the current cast members of the variety show.

Meanwhile, Kim Joo Hyuk have finished filming his last episodes on November 20 and 21 which would then be aired starting on November 29.

The actor is currently appearing on the tvN drama “Reply 1988” and would be appearing on the upcoming films “Happy Facebook” and “The Tooth and the Nail.”
