It has been revealed that T-ARA member Jiyeon and Lee Dong Gun are currently in a relationship!
An industry insider has revealed on July 4 that Jiyeon and Lee Dong Gun have progressed their relationship into becoming a couple about two months ago. The source revealed that the two stars are currently dating after becoming close in May during their filming of a Korean-Chinese film “Encounter” together.
The dating rumor surfaced after a photo of Jiyeon and Lee Dong Gun eating in a restaurant together while holding hands has been posted online. The two stars affection with one another has immediately gained the attention of netizens.
The dating issue is also earning interest among fans since there is nearly a 13-year age gap between Jiyeon and Lee Dong Gun, with Jiyeon being 22 years old and Lee Dong Gun being 34 years old.
The agency of both stars has also released their official statements regarding the dating rumor of the two.
On July 4, a representative from T-ARA’s agency MBK Entertainment has confirmed the dating news with media outlet TV Report, “It is true that Jiyeon is dating Lee Dong Gun. They became close when they filmed their movie together.”
While a representative from FNC Entertainment also confirmed, “After checking with Lee Dong Gun himself, they are in stage of meeting with interest. It has been a month that they have gotten close after meeting in their movie filming.”
