Former Girl’s Generation member Jessica Jung gets casted in a Chinese movie along with Hong Kong based actor William Chan.
It has been reported by Chinese media outlet SINA that Jessica would be appearing on a Chinese romantic comedy movie with a tentative title, “Love Package.”
On October 27, SINA has also reported that Jessica was recently spotted filming with William Chan in a restaurant in Beijing.
Accordingly, Jessica was working on her lines in Chinese and was asking William Chan for help on the things which she did not understand. Moreover, it was said that there were several fans who were there to cheer Jessica on.
However, her specific role in the movie is not yet revealed. The movie would also be Jessica’s first acting gig since her Korean drama “Wild Romance” in 2012. Wiliam Chan on the other hand, is known for his roles on films such as, “Lost in Wrestling,” “Golden Brother,” “As the Light Goes Out.” He was previously a member of the Cantopop group, Sun Boy’z.
Meanwhile, since Jessica’s controversial departure from Girl’s Generation in September of last year and her leave from SM Entertainment last August, she has been busy with her fashion brand Blanc & Eclare which is said to be launching a cosmetic line. She has also been active in China and have appeared on the Chinese variety show, “Yes, Coach!”
