Solo singer Han Dong Geun shares his thoughts about his extreme diet and rise in popularity on the new episode of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.”
Han Dong Geun jokes to Yoo Hee Yeol by saying, “Whenever I see you on TV, you look like a skinny ape. However, now that I have seen you in person, you are so bright and tall.”
With regards to looking like fellow singers Kim Bum Soo and Lee Seung Chul, the singer comments, “I have also seen in the comments that I am similar to them with regards to singing as well. I am very grateful for those sentiments.”
He also talks about his physical appearance by saying, “I got fillers in my nose and chin recently. I ate only one meal per day, and I was able to lose 12 kilograms in two months.”
Han Dong Geun also shares his struggles when he was just starting out in the industry, saying, “At the time, Seo In Guk was doing really well. I was expecting that to happen for me as well. However, it was not easy. I have even thought of giving up on music.”
Meanwhile, Han Dong Geun is known for winning the music audition program, “Birth of A Great Star 3.” He is currently promoting his debut song, which he first released two years ago, “Making a New Ending for This Story” and it has earned him his first music show win on “Music Bank.”
