Home » Gyuri, Seungyeon and Hara officially leave KARA and DSP Media

KARA members Gyuri, Seungyeon and Hara revealed to have officially left the girl group and their management agency DSP Media.

Previously, the three members have been rumored to be signing with different agencies following their contract expiration with DSP Media.

DSP Media issues an official report saying, “The contracts of the Gyuri, Seungyeon and Hara who have been with the agency for 9 years and have shared sweet and bitterness of life together with DSP Media, have been terminated on January 15.”

They also reveal, “The three people who have been DSP artists have decided to immerse themselves in activities on a different field for their personal growth. The agency will generously support and wish the best for their future.”

In regards to KARA’s remaining member Youngji, the agency reveals, “She would be showing a better side of herself as this company’s artist. She would work hard and we would do our best to help Youngji on her growth.”

DSP Media also reveals, “Lastly, we sincerely thank the many fans who have given generous love and support towards Gyuri, Seungyeon and Hara for the past 9 years and we ask for lots of support towards the members in the future as well.”

Meanwhile, Seungyeon has signed with Widmay Enteratainment to focus on her acting career while Hara signs with KeyEast Entertainment and plans to promote as an actress and a singer. Gyuri on the other hand has not been reported to have signed with a new agency yet.
